  • 01/27/12--00:00: The State Board of Elections is Relocating its Springfield Office Beginning February 10, 2012 (chan 1581904)
  • The State Board of Elections will be relocating its Springfield office to 2329 S. MacArthur Blvd., Springfield, IL 62704-4503 beginning 1PM Friday February 10, 2012. All Springfield office telephone systems will be taken down at that time and remain inoperative until 8AM, Tuesday, February 14, 2012, at which time the Springfield office will reopen at the new location. Note: A limited number of the Board’s Chicago office telephone numbers, including the main switchboard (312-814-6440), will remain active. Additionally, the agency’s website (including the electronic filing of Campaign Disclosure reports) will remain up and running during the transition.

  • 02/17/12--00:00: February 22nd Board Meeting Agenda Has Been Changed (chan 1581904)
  • To all interested persons; The format of the agenda for the February 22nd, 2012 meeting of the State Board of Elections is being changed as follows: The Report of the Executive Director will be presented first, beginning at approximately 9AM, followed by the Report of the General Counsel. The Report of the General Counsel includes among other things, consideration of campaign disclosure items including Appeals of civil penalty assessments, Complaints following closed preliminary hearing, Motions to Reconsider and Settlement offers of civil penalties. Though it is not certain what time the Report of the General Counsel will commence, the Board suggests interested parties arrive no later than 10AM. The principal location of the Board meeting is at the James R. Thompson Center in Chicago, located at 100 W. Randolph, Ste: 9-040. However, as in past meetings, the Chicago location will be connected to the Board’s Springfield office via videoconference. Please note that the Springfield office is now located at 2329 S. MacArthur Blvd. in Springfield Illinois.

  • 02/23/12--00:00: Form D-4 – Complaint for Violation of the Campaign Disclosure Act (chan 1581904)
  • Any campaign disclosure complaint received by the Board after the 20th of February, but prior to March 6th, will be brought to the Board for consideration at a special Board meeting to be held at 2:00 P.M. on, Monday, March 12th. Any campaign disclosure complaint received by the Board on or after March 6th and prior to March 13th will be brought to the Board for consideration at the Monday, March 19th Board meeting. Any campaign disclosure complaint received by the Board after March 12th will be brought to the Board for consideration at the Friday, April 20th Board meeting.
